I am a graduate from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in graphic design. A goal of mine is to continue to obtain a graphic design position which encourages creative freedom.

I am passionate about graphic design because I find the process fascinating. I like being able to easily change concepts, allowing the artist to find the best suited solutions. I am drawn in by the process of graphic design which allows the artist to communicate so efficiently. The precision of working graphically can communicate an idea in a more specific, cleaner and organized way. From the beginning, I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of media and the different processes.  As I matured as an artist, I found it to be very enriching to work using mixing media. I am inspired by working with my hands because I feel the work is more personal and stylized. I also enjoy the beauty in the imperfection when working with my hands. Therefore, a passion for graphic design seemed to click when I began to scan and render my work with the adobe programs. I really enjoy working illustratively because I like the detail that goes into the work. It’s satisfying to force myself to work with simple forms and designs to be able to showcase my ability, and to work with a diverse style and skill.  This is what I believe makes me stand out as as artist. My work and persistence to create is inspired by my passions, interests and experiences aside from Art and design.  I am constantly looking for new inspirations around me and I incorporate them in my work.
